My name is Mickey and I'm 26 years old. I have a passion for people, art, music, and nature, and I I love to draw. Creating something from nothing makes you feel like anything is possible.

I've always been an artist since I could hold a crayon, and I've been working as a tattoo artist for about 6 years. I started when I was 19 in a small shop in the middle of a corn field (Yeah Man!) Where I worked with Mark Wood. I have worked with several skilled artists since then, as I have been ever learning. I worked with Eric Baumann at Extreme Tattoos in Piqua, and it was a vital step in my learning. I owe a lot to Eric!

I took a break for a few months due to pain in my hands. I decided there is nothing I can do to support myself without my hands so I eagerly began tattooing again. What a relief to be back in my happy place! As for the pain in my hands, I have slowed down my appointment intake, and started taking breaks throughout appointments and in between clients. This helps me have a chance to relax, stretch, or eat before the next session, keeping me at my best!

I am now working in Springfield, at Artistic Delirium Tattoos and Piercings. My new services include henna and face painting! Henna is a temporary tattoo by application of henna paste. It fades within 3 weeks and is safe for all ages, though recommended for ages 14 and up. Schedule for henna by appointment! Face painting will not be done in shop. More details to come, just contact me with any questions!

I've also decided on a back up plan that will allow me to support myself and still continue to do my passion--tattoos! I am currently in school until about 2025 studying to be an Ultrasound Technician (DMS)! Here I will have a stable job doing something that is interesting, rewarding, and harder on my mind than my hands!

After everything, I've learned what is truly IMPORTANT to me. That's family and friends (including animals), music, art, and nature. I try my best to seize the day, every day, and to GIVE BACK, when I can.
